Pinehurst Landscape Co. and Nursery is nestled among the rural farmlands of the beautiful Long Green Valley. Founded and owned by Robert Carter, Pinehurst was established in 1964 and has grown from a small lawn mowing service to a premier full service landscape company and nursery.

Pinehurst Nursery, your best source for locally grown trees, has two properties consisting of over 125 acres, enabling Pinehurst to offer our customers the best in choice and quality. Included in our 50,000 plant inventory are well established shrubs and trees as well as large specimen trees suited to bring scale and interest to your landscape. To supplement our inventory, we purchase a variety of trees and shrubs from top industry growers from around the country.

Pinehurst Landscape Co. has experienced designers who work closely with our clients to produce a design to enhance the landscape of your home or business. From foundation plantings to full estate planning, our licensed designers have the vision and imagination to make the most of your outdoor living areas. Integrating features of texture and color with existing architecture, our talented staff carefully considers the needs and desires of each customer to create a unique environment that provides style and excitement throughout the years.

The Pinehurst Staff

Wink Rupprecht

Vice-President and General Manager

Wink is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and has worked for Pinehurst since 1970. He is licensed by the State of Maryland as a Tree Expert and a Certified Pest Control Applicator, as well as a Certified Professional Horticulturalist. As the general manager Wink oversees all of Pinehurst's ongoing projects during the year.

Wink is the father of two and a very proud grandfather of a beautiful baby girl. He has also continued throughout the years to play an integral part in the lacrosse world currently as an MYLA youth coach and lacrosse official.

Corey Branch

Landscape Designer/Residential Sales

An award winning landscape designer and Certified Professional Horticulturalist, Corey has 33 years of experience with Pinehurst. Building on his Bachelor of Science degree in Business he continued his education with courses in Horticulture and Design at the University of Maryland and later at Dundalk Community College.

Corey creatively combines elements of landscape and hardscape to enhance the beauty and value of your home. His natural talent for design and his extensive knowledge of plants, integrated with the needs and desires of the homeowner, can transform any outdoor space into a tranquil garden area to be enjoyed for a lifetime. Corey's wife Michelle works in the Pinehurst office during the spring and fall seasons. They have two daughters, both attending college.

Denise Rebetsky

Landscape Designer/Residential Sales

Denise has been part of the design sales team at Pinehurst for the past ten years. With a background in fine arts and graphic design, Denise takes pride in creating beautiful gardens for her clients that combine both aesthetics and practicality. She is a graduate of the George Washington University Landscape Design Certificate Program and a Certified Professional Horticulturalist.
